Homemade Dark Chocolate *Revised and updated*

So I have made a few changes to my original homemade dark chocolate recipe and thought I should pass on the updated information. This recipe yields a lot more chocolate, and I feel it tastes even better! 😉  I don’t pour it into a pyrex anymore. Instead, I dish it into small candy cups, to make personal bite size chocolates. 🙂 We switched to using Grade B Maple Syrup instead of honey as well. I love the delicate flavor that it brings, and the chocolate melts on my tongue in the most pleasant of ways. 🙂  It is very comparable to the Dove (c) chocolates that I used to enjoy so much. The picture below is actually of the Paleo “Peanut Butter” Cups that we made! But that is a recipe for another day. 😉

Here is a visual of how I set up my candy cups. This is from the making of my “reese” replacements…that recipe is soon to come! 😀

Let me know what you think of the new texture and flavor! As well as the new handy serving sizes! 😀

  1. I’ve been looking for a way to make my own chocolate that isn’t too complicated, I’ll have to try this! Does it taste maple-y at all and do you think honey could work as well?

Honey works wonderfully! 🙂 And no, I never noticed a maple taste at all. We love the texture that this recipe brings…it is so creamy! 😀
