As promised, here is the yummy okra recipe to go with the seasoning that I posted last week. 🙂
You will need:
- 1 lb okra
- 1 TBSP okra seasoning
- 1 1/2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil (or coconut oil)
Rinse and drain the okra in a small strainer.
Place it in a ziplock bag, add the seasoing and oil, then seal and shake.
Spread it all out onto a cookie sheet that you have covered in parchment and bake at 425 degrees until it is fork tender. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes in my oven.
This is one of the easiest recipes! We make it quite frequently, especially because we seem to have okra plants that will never stop producing! 😉 But that’s okay by us…less to buy and more to eat! 🙂
