Day 9 – Post Adult Stem Cell Procedure

I have had a rocky first week since stem cell treatment. I was so encouraged at the start because we were seeing all of these little improvements. I will include the Facebook documented videos in this post. For those of you that would like more consistent updates, please be sure to like us and follow Nourish Your Temple on Facebook! 🙂

After the first 2 or 3 days, I began to have a massive increase in my already severe spasticity. 🙁 It was a big hit for me. I am so easily frustrated (because I am such an over achiever), that when I saw a back slide, I immediately thought the worst. I need lots of prayer to keep remembering how awesome this is going to be…and how God takes his time with things…because His time is not mine…and mine is always RIGHT NOW! lol 😛

On a positive note: I am finally starting to notice my “color” changes that everyone has been telling me about. The stem cells have really worked magic on making my skin all rosey! I actually look a bit flushed…but hey, I’ll take it! 😀

9 day post stem cell

As of today, the spasticity was a bit better again this morning and early afternoon. It was easier for me to bend my right leg when walking with the walker, so my stride was a bit better. However, I am still unable to get any release or bend in my left leg. Baby steps. 😉

Here are some of the achievements that I have from this week:

I will try to update the blog every week or two on any more improvements or set backs…but as I mentioned before, there will be more updates posted on Facebook if you are wanting to follow me daily. 🙂

Anyone else have some stem cell treatment stories to share??
